Summer Staple: RE/DONE

Re/DONE has been one of those go-to brands for me for a couple of years now. Vintage Levi's are such a staple piece and RE/DONE knows how to make them fit just the way you want. This pair is the "No Waist" shorts where they took off the belt loops and waist band. To be honest, I was a little skeptical about trying them at first. When you're so used to one style of something, it can be tough trying something different. But I am so glad I did! They give the shorts a little bit of an edgier look. What do you guys think?
I paired them with classic pieces that I have been seeing some of my favorite french bloggers. Espadrilles have been on my wish list and I am so happy I got them! They're actually a lot more comfortable than I expected too, which is a huge necessity for me!

I'm so excited to share more photos and look that Dawn and I shot while we were on the little desert trip! Los Angeles was overflowing with beautiful was tough not taking photos with all of them!

Oh and hey, if you want to get yourself something from RE/DONE (which I HIGHLY recommend) here is a discount code to get 15% off of your order! They also have some really amazing tees too! Just use code TONYA15 to get 15% off but hurry because the code ends August 4th!!

Back to School with Redbubble

Summer is in full force but that also means that school is just around the corner. Although I graduated recently, I know there are still many of you who are still in school so I wanted to share Redbubble with you and some amazing pieces that have that are perfect for any student. They're even perfect for me since I work from home! I really call my place my office but I also used to do all of my school work here too! The great thing about Redbubble is that they have so many amazing artists that share their work and you're able to create items from what they have created! I personally decided on this beautiful leafy print from artist Barbarian.

For me, some important elements for back to school include a new laptop cover, pencil pouch, travel coffee cup and notebooks...ALL of those things are available at Redbubble too! Make sure and check out what they have! I found myself browsing for a couple hours to just see what artwork I could find.

Use my code: themoptop15 to receive 15% off of your order too! Happy shopping!

The Perfect Desert Getaway: Joshua Tree Acres

dawnphotography-272 dawnphotography-271 dawnphotography-266 dawnphotography-263 dawnphotography-258 dawnphotography-257 dawnphotography-255 dawnphotography-245

Joshua Trees was one of those bucket list locations for me...and I feel like it is for most people. I had tried to make plans to go there when I was living in Las Vegas but it just never happened. So when I finally started planning this little desert trip, Joshua Tree was definitely one of the places I knew had to be a stop. I was searching for the perfect little desert getaway since Joshua Tree seems to be known for the coolest little Airbnb's. Finally, I stumbled upon Joshua Tree Acres and instantly had to stay!
Joshua Tree acres is the cutest little lot in the desert with renovated Airstreams! They're all decorated with the cutest interiors, decked out with string lights, hammocks and wooden decks. Basically the traveler/adventurers dream.
Everything about the place was pure magic and these are just a few of the photos we took there from when we first arrived. MANY more to come.

Even though basket bags have been my latest go to these days, I love a good structured purse as well. Armadio always has the best bags too and this one is one of my new favorites. The square, structured shape makes it an interesting piece to match with summer dresses. Plus the two strap sizes makes it versatile to carry around the city with me as well.
I know it can be overwhelming when it comes to shopping for new bags and purses, but I would without a doubt recommend checking out Armadio! I have a a couple bags from there now and they've all be great quality and chic styles.

It's been a crazy past few days! I graduated from college on Friday, spent the weekend with family, then drove with my dad from Portland to Las Vegas....I am pooped! I'm looking forward to spending the week in Vegas to relax and get back to blogging again. I can't wait to share more with you guys!

Whimsy Florals

IMG_8132 IMG_8129 IMG_8087 IMG_8063 IMG_8058 IMG_8039 IMG_7990

Have you guys checked out Whimsy and Row's latest Eco Collection?! You have to if you haven't yet. It's such a great way to get super cute clothes that aren't bad for the environment either! They use deadstock fabric for their designs and don't use any water in creating the pieces. There's more info about the designs on their site...but I just wanted to give you guys a little reminder!

I'm loving this dress from their collection too. I love the color of the fabric, it has a fall feel but still seems summery. Dresses and cute shoes is pretty much my summer uniform. It's easy and effortless, don't you think so too? SO make sure and check out Whimsy and Row's collection! And tell me what your favorite piece form their collection is too!

Anyways, I am off to the Portland Mississippi street fair so I hope you all have a great weekend!

Must Stay in LA: The Line Hotel

IMG_8675 IMG_8873 IMG_8874 IMG_8871 6L0A6307 IMG_8870 IMG_8728 6L0A6308

I just got back this weekend from an amazing trip to the desert! The last stop on the trip was one of my favorite cities ever, Los Angeles. I was lucky enough to stay at The Line Hotel which I have been dying to stay at ever since I first saw it in LA a couple years ago. The location is perfect since it's in the heart of Koreatown and within walking distance of some really great shops. But one of the best things about the hotel is that on the 2nd floor is the cutest/coolest/sweeeeetest restaurants I have ever seen. Commissary is located in The Line Hotel and is a greenhouse! An actual greenhouse that you can eat and drink in...not to mention that just right outside there is a pool as well. Just the whole atmosphere is so incredible and relaxing and I didn't want to leave.

I think it's pretty obvious one of the best things about staying at The Line Hotel is, the view. My room had the most stunning view of the Hollywood Hills and I couldn't stop myself from just staring at the window. It was amazing watching the sunset from my room and then snuggling in bed gazing over the Los Angeles city lights. It was a night I won't forget.

The Line Hotel is a must stay if you are ever in Los Angeles! I honestly don't have any complaints and I am counting down the days until I can go back.
